Heat Treatment Assurance
Our full-automatic natural gas furnace (24 meters in length) maintains precise temperature control with real temperature tolerance within 10ºC.
Important Note: It is recommended that the tempering temperature should be at least 100°F [50°C] above the intended service temperature. Please advise if service temperature exceeds 1100°F [600°C].
Pipe of Grades P1, P2, and P12 (hot finished or cold drawn) may receive final heat treatment at 1200°F[650°C] to 1300°F [705°C]. All Grade P5c pipes receive final heat treatment in the range from 1325°F [715°C] to 1375°F[745°C].
Quality Assurance Process
- Each lot of raw materials tested by spectrometer before storage
- 100% PMI (Positive Material Identification) of mother pipe to ensure correct material
- 100% PMI of finished pipe to verify correct grade production
Applications
High pressure, low & medium pressure boiler steel pipes/tubes are suitable for manufacturing super-heaters, re-heaters, water walls, and economizers in large-scale power plants.
